Hello. This is Nushin.
I’m Nushin Nahidpour, a London-based graphic designer and illustrator who finds lines, colours, and forms as expressive as words—perhaps even more so. I'm a member of the Chartered Society of Designers with a focus on creating and enhancing brand materials. I hold a background in web administration, HTML and CSS, I have an understanding of UX and UI design. However, it’s not a focus of my work, nor a direction I wish to pursue.
My journey began in Fine Art, where I cultivated an eye for detail and a love for visual expression. Later, I studied Graphic Design for Advertising at West Thames College in London, complementing my artistic roots with professional design training and additional courses. After a period of teaching graphic design, I transitioned into the industry, where I’ve spent several years collaborating with diverse companies. My work spans crafting fresh brand identities, reimagining established ones, designing for impactful marketing campaigns, and refining materials for both digital and print. Every project I take on is an opportunity to merge creativity with purpose, delivering visuals that resonate and communicate effectively.
Beyond my professional work, I am—and always have been—an artist at heart. My works are experimental playgrounds, driven by a desire to explore ideas and discover new ways to bring them to life. A piece might reflect a concern, a thought, a memory, or simply serve as a visual experiment to explore new creative paths.
I’m also a linguist and a lifelong learner. Fluent in English and Persian, I’ve immersed myself in Russian language and literature, focusing on the richness of the 18th and 19th centuries. These experiences deepen my appreciation for storytelling and culture—elements that often find their way into my work.
I’d like everything here to be perfect, but it’s not! This platform is still growing. I’m very busy with work and hardly find time to update the website. I appreciate your patience if you encounter any quirks along the way.
Thank you for visiting me here.
