This work invites contemplation from multiple perspectives, each revealing a facet of interconnected experiences. The composition reflects the intricate journey of life, where chance encounters, brief pauses, and enduring connections shape the fabric of our existence.
At its centre, two figures—a mother and daughter—emerge as profound influences on my personal narrative. Their names, Malek and Fereshte, both translate to "angel," a poignant symbol echoed in the wings that frame the piece. These wings extend beyond metaphor, encapsulating the strength, grace, and indelible presence of these women. Their progressive spirit and unwavering kindness made their influence impossible to overlook or forget.
The integration of text as both visual and linguistic forms enriches the imagery, weaving together words and symbols in a reflection of legacy, memory, and the enduring impact of human connection.
